1. Solid may very well be my favorite Groundhogs album. There's still plenty of blues influences, but T.S Mcphee & co. run 'em through all kinds of flangers and other effect gear, mix in a cool portion of mellotron, until it comes out at the other end sounding like a bluesy cousin of Hawkwind.
