2. This album follows the sound Kit Watkins devoloped on "Wet Dark And Low". The songs here, and there are a lot of them, have lots of rhythm in them. And, like most of Watkins' previous work, plenty of odd time signatures as well. Like the previous album, Watkins uses a harmonized trumpet sound on a few track.

4. The album is made entirely from synthesizers. But it is difficult to tell that from listening. Watkins does a superb job of imitating a wide array of instruments, both acoustic and electronic, as well as providing drums sounds from his keyboards. And while most of the songs are somewhat low key, there are plenty of prog elements.4/5(1).

6. Kit Watkins. Bat Cave, North Carolina. Kit’s solo career began in with the self-produced album Labyrinth, released on his own Azimuth Records label. The album won him 5th place in Keyboard magazine’s Annual Readers’ Poll Awards for keyboard album. Before this, Kit had recorded and toured with bands Happy The Man and Camel.

8. Jul 30,  · Thanks. Good news, although at the moment the CD is in backorder. Btw. CDBaby often shows if an album is on CD-R, but apparently not in this case. Kit did make a short return to progressive music on Tim Bowness' previous album. His last solo-album I know about that I would call progressive is Flying Petals from , indeed a CD-R.
